Shota Meskhia State Teaching University is hosting the 8th international project. Within erasmus+ CBHE project, a consortium meeting is held, which is attended by representatives of partner universities from 4 European countries: Czech Republic, Austria, Lithuania and Spain, as well as 12 Georgian universities. A conference of the rectors of regional universities was also held within the framework of the consortium meeting. Tamar Makharashvili, Director of the National Center for Education Quality Development attended the meeting. The aim of this project is to increase the role of the university in the development of the region.

Participants of the meeting pointed out that the format, which envisages the discussion of the rectors of regional universities in one space and the sharing of their own experiences, is essential. Since 2019, the project coordinator is Kutaisi Akaki Tsereteli State University.

Shota Meskhia State Teaching University, which hosts the 3-day meeting within the project, aims not only to share mutual experiences but also to identify best practices in the field of quality assurance in specific segments in specific areas.
