On March 14-16, 2022, representatives of Shota Meskhia State Teaching University of Zugdidi participated in a working meeting and training held at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania.

The RURD (Role of Universities in Regional Development) project involves 12 Georgian universities as well as 4 European partner universities from Spain, Austria, the Czech Republic and Lithuania.

The aim of the project is to increase the role of Georgian regional higher educational institutions in the development of the regions in cooperation with European partners, which at the same time contributes to the successful implementation of the third mission of the universities.
