  • To prepare a competitive Master of Veterinary Medicine with transferable skills and competency appropriate to modern requirements and the labor market that will be focused on both theoretical and practical activities within the context of professional ethics; carries out a variety of complex activities in the field of veterinary medicine, including creating legislative and normative documentation in the field of veterinary medicine;
  • For the purpose of ensuring the general well-being of animals (including pets) and birds, diagnosing infectious, invasive, non-communicable diseases, conducting laboratory and differential diagnostic examinations, treatment, conducting preventive (prophylactic) measures and determining expected results; surgical, gynecological interventions, evaluation of the patient's clinical status and determination of expected results;
  • Protecting the population from common (zoonotic) diseases of animals and humans and adhering to the principles of the "unified healthcare" concept; ensuring the veterinary safety of the country;
  • Pre-slaughter and post-slaughter veterinary inspection of slaughter animals for the production of harmless animal products; inspection and control of animal-derived food;
  • Identifying physiological indicators, organ topography, and healthy tissue types; performs an animal corpse autopsy and conducts a qualified forensic-veterinary examination;
  • Production of medicinal forms; organization of experimental, preclinical, and clinical testing of new medications; accurate selection of therapeutic and prophylactic drugs; prescribing;
  • Animal breeding, utilizing methods of care and production that guarantee the health, safety, and well-being of livestock and poultry.
