In 2015  the Career Development Center at Zugdidi State University was established within the framework of the Erasmus + institutional capacity building project "DEVELOPING WEB-BASED CAREER GUIDANCE SERVICES IN THE EASTERN PARTNERSHIP COUNTRIES - WEBCASEDE".

• Conducting meetings and conversations with school students and their parents regarding the specifics of the educational university and professional educational programs in terms of orientation;
• Participation in various types of events to raise awareness of professional programs; Participation in the process of attracting an acceptable contingent and their correct professional orientation;
• Providing consultations and providing information to those wishing to study/interested persons about the professional programs in the educational university;
• Counseling in the selection of professional educational programs and assisting applicants in selecting a list of professional educational programs that match their interests;
• Active participation in the planning of meetings and events;
• Participation in advertising the University's activities to attract professional students and partner employers;
• Participation with the head of the Center for Strategic Planning and Research in the study of labor market requirements;
• Providing professional students and graduates with updated information regarding employment opportunities/vacancies and further career development opportunities;
• Active involvement in research related to the employment of professional students and graduates;
• Ensuring access to career support services for current and potential vocational students;
• Participation in the process of finding new partners and negotiating with employing organizations to pass professional students' industrial practice/practical project and/or further employment;
