On July 9, 2021, within the framework of erasmus+ CBHE project RURD "Role of Universities in the Regional Development”, a meeting of the rectors of regional universities was held at Akaki Tsereteli State University. At the meeting, the rectors of 11 regional universities, LEPL – Akaki Tsereteli State University, 

February 19th is Plagiarism Awareness Day.

On November 3, 2020 online session was held at Shota Meskhia State Teaching University of Zugdidi.

On 19th of February 2020 at Shota Meskhia State teaching University of Zugdidi, within the project „Academic Integrity for Quality Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia (INTEGRITY) was held the meting with the secondary school graduate students from different schools in Zugdidi.

USAID/Zrda in cooperation with the Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC) presents the “Regional Tour Guides Short-term Training Program” results!

In 9-10th December of 2019 at Akaki Tsereteli Kutaisi State University was organized Kick Off meeting of RUDR (Role of Universities in the Regional Development). During the meeting from both sides was signed the contract of partnership within the project. Project aims to define the regional needs and then plan activities to enhance the role of the university in the region.

At Shota Meskhia Teaching University of Zugdidi first time middle term exams were implemented electronically by using Moodle platform. This experience of e-exam was shared to the academic and administrative staff of ZSSU within the Erasmus+ project STAR and INTEGRITY.

On September 11, 2019 heads of coordination/ working groups of erasmus+ international projects STAR and INTEGRITY have conducted meeting with the academic staff.

On May 7, academic staff of the faculty of Social Sciences and Health held another meeting within erasmus+ project STAR  at Shota Meskhia State Teaching University of Zugdidi. Professors have discussed and shared each other the effects of implementation of student-oriented innovative methods.

Shota Meskhia State Teaching University of Zugdidi participated in the 6th project meeting of Erasmus+ project STAR which was held at Masaryk university in Brno, the Czech Republic from February 25 till March 1.
