On December 16-17, 2024, within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE project PRODIGE (PROmoting high-quality DIGital Education in Georgia), Kick-off Meeting was held at Caucasus University.

From February 4 to 6, 2025, within the framework of the Erasmus+ CBHE project PRODIGE (PROmoting high-quality DIGital Education in Georgia), a three-day training session was held on the topic: Digital Education in Higher Education – Characteristics, Opportunities, and Challenges of Digital Education.

On October 22-23, 2024, Shota Meskhia Zugdidi State University participated in the International Week held at Ilia Tsinamdzgvrishvili College. 

The implementation of activities planned under the Erasmus+ international projects is progressing successfully at the university.

On June 5, 2024, the student project "Love, Shelter, Protect," developed within the volunteering component of the Youth Festival, was implemented at Zugdidi University. Houses were built for homeless animals and placed in the university yard and various locations around Zugdidi.

On March 19-21, 2024 representatives of Shota Meskhia State Teaching University of Zugdidi attended the Kick-Off Meeting within Erasmus+ CBHE Project RE-DIRECTION “Redefining higher education in a digital context, while promoting a common, inclusive, and sustainable framework based on EU best practices and policy recommen
