The goal of the vocational education program is to prepare and supply the labor market with a qualified accountant who will be able to:

  • Participate in planning, organizing, and managing accounting policies for entrepreneurial, non-entrepreneurial, state organizations/institutions, or individuals;
  • Verify and analyze financial and accounting records to ensure their compliance with established legislation and standards;
  • Perform accounting transactions, prepare and submit tax declarations according to established procedures, and ensure the transfer of tax obligations to the state budget;
  • Prepare financial statements, primary accounting, and various types of financial documentation for both external and internal users.

A holder of a higher vocational qualification in Accounting may be employed in private and public institutions, non-governmental organizations, accounting and financial departments, auditing and consulting companies, as a chief accountant, assistant accountant, or accountant-calculator. Self-employment is also possible through private professional practice.
