The goal of the Information Technology vocational program is to prepare a qualified specialist in personal computer hardware and software who possesses the technical skills required for installing and updating hardware and operating systems, troubleshooting faults, optimizing performance, diagnosing issues, and providing maintenance and support. The graduate has knowledge of the fundamental facts, principles, processes, and general concepts characteristic of the field and understands the necessary steps required to accomplish complex tasks.

A holder of a basic vocational qualification in Information Technology may be employed as a technical support specialist in any state or municipal organization and/or private company where information technologies are used.
